How to update your Halo lock’s firmware
- Open the Kwikset App from your mobile device.
- Click on the lock icon button from the upper right corner.
- Keep your Kwikset halo lock within the range of Bluetooth in your smartphone.
- Turn on Bluetooth on the smartphone.
- Remove the black interior cover from the halo lock.
- Stay for only 3 seconds by pressing and holding the A button from the halo lock.
- While you hear beeping sounds and see the blue LED flashes, take out the A button.
- Tap on the pair button to begin the pairing process.
- Set a name for the Kwikset halo lock.
- Tap on the next option from the upper right corner.
- Pick your wifi name and set its passcode.
- Enter the details for the Kwikset halo lock access code.
- Tap on the next or submit icon to complete the setup.
